  • Berlin

Three weeks ago I spent 3 nights in the “Quality Hotel Berlin City-East. It is one of the biggest hotels in Berlin located in the northeast of Berlin, near the historic centre, so that I used the opportunity to visit some attractions in the surroundings.
One of these attractions is the Television Tower on the west side of Alexanderplatz marking the centre of the capital with a height of originally 365 meters. By the inhabitants it is nicknamed TV-asparagus.
Visitors like me from all over the world enjoy the view and restaurant in the globe which stands 250 meters above ground, rotating around its own axis.
After a delicious coffee I took the way to the Neptune Fountain with its fantastic statues that once stood in front of the City Palace and is now in front of the “Red” Town Hall just west of the tower.
Nearby you can have a look into the interior of the famous Church of our Lady (Marienkirche) built in the 13th and 14th century in gothic style.
I was recommended to continue my sightseeing towards the beautiful avenue “Unter den Linden” where I discovered another great number of impressive architectural monuments.

  • Wellness Hotel Dresden

As an employee with an international airline company I know a lot of hotels and I should declare that the hotel “Steigenberger Park Hotel Dresden Radebeul” is one of the houses which I enjoyed very much.

I am an office clerk having a lot of stress sometimes and that’s why I was really impressed by the large wellness area satisfying almost all guest wishes and especially by the “Hamam” (the Turkish bath) where you can relax “your soul”. I recommend especially the application “Hamam Cleopatra” consisting of a relaxing body scrub, washing and soap massage, milk and honey wrap, Turkish tea, water and fruits.

A various number of other applications with different effects is offered to you. They contain different kinds of massages amongst others Ayurveda, so that it is sometimes really hard to find out the most interest product for yourself.

In your room you feel absolutely comfortable because you are provided with everything you might need like queen-size bed or separate beds, a bathroom with bathtub or shower and WC, desk, W-Lan, TV, radio, pay-TV, safe and minibar.

The attractions of the historic Dresden such as the “Semper Opera”, the “Brühlsche Terasse” (former part of the city wall), the “Frauenkirche” (Church of our Lady) or the Zwinger Palace contribute a lot to a relaxed stay.

You should not miss the opportunity to enjoy the delicious saxon dishes and wines in the hotel’s restaurant “Lössnitz”to have a perfect end of your day and to recommend them to your friends.
